  1. It’s a real shame that he is gone. Such talent but I was really disappointed when the news said he was addicted to drugs and alcohol. I have one of his tapestry’s hanging on a wall.

  2. I always loved Thomas Kinkade. I had some things of his at one time. I also like what Mr. Rodriguez says in this post….thanks for sharing….

  3. Thank you catlover60. Yes, indeed a sad and dark ending for someone who brought so much light into the artistic world. We never know what darkness people battle within their soul. My hope and prayer is that he was able to make peace with God.

    • I have read that he was saved at Calvary Chapel in California in 1980. I hope that is true. Most Christians I know battle darkness of some type to some degree. In the case of Mr. Kinkade his battle was highly visible and public knowledge.

Luke 21:36 "Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."
