Oh the spring air is joyous, the air smells wonderful; fresh and clean, a reminder that winter is fading at long last.
With spring comes a new beginning, a return of life that was dormant the winter through. As if spring is the promise of new life, and the return of life that lay dormant but for a while.
Grass renews and becomes green again; it’s brownness forgotten. Trees leaves re-emerge and become beautiful once more, wearing their coats of color and shape. Flowers will abound once more, what joy there is to be in flowers beheld.
Oh the fresh new growth of spring, and the varied colors and smells, what beauty there is to behold, a feast for the senses to refresh the soul.
As spring moves into summer, the full changes appear. Everything is in bloom and showing it’s God given beauty off…a picture for us to enjoy not only with our eyes; but also with our sense of smell, and our appreciation for beauty…gifts given us by God.
As the new spring and then summer bring about a glad change in this earth we dwell on, so too can the Word of God bring about “spring” in us.
Only we don’t have to wait for a new season. The day of refreshment can be any day we choose.
Don’t wait another day to refresh yourself; do it today! If you have been away from the Word of God, maybe even from worship, start afresh in His Word and receive renewal in your spirit today.
We can have a new start anytime we need one, no waiting. As God renews the seasons and all the things that grow in those seasons, so too will He renew us…we need only come to Him. If you have been away, come back. Be blessed by the Lord as you spend time with Him.
If you spend time each day with the Lord, remember what a blessing it is to know Him. Give thanks today…to the One who made all things.

HI Debbie, glad you stopped by!
This almost-heavenly photo and these lines.”As the new spring and then summer bring about a glad change in this earth we dwell on, so too can the Word of God bring about “spring” in us.” just spring me right up very near Heaven in my heart right now! You have my deepest gratitude for this inspiring beauty and teaching.
>> “We don’t have to wait for a new season”
True! Praise God HE is constantly at work in our lives. In fact, it is probably (even though it shouldn’t be) that we turn to Him most quickly in the drab and dry season rather than in the easy-going ‘spring’ season.
What an amazing God that He NEVER leaves us and is ALWAYS available when we turn to Him.
Amen! We do turn to Him more when things are not the best. Probably why we need trials to improve in our walk with Him.
Thanks for stopping by and reading.
This post is a great encouragement. Thank you!
God bless!
I’m glad this blessed you! Thanks for reading.
