This is a good summary of the fig tree. However Mark has this in better chronological order. The order in the Gospel of Mark has the tree likely cursed on Monday morning and the disciple’s reaction on Tuesday morning. So, Jesus curses the fig tree. What was so wrong with the tree? The tree has all the appearance of bearing fruit however it is a deception, no fruit is found.

In fact you could run it in the garbage disposal, and run it over with a large truck and it would be just like new. You buy this watch at a fraction of the cost of what it is supposed to be worth.
