You Choose

We all know the story of Adam and Eve and if not it can be found in Genesis 2:4  and  Genesis 3.

Personally, I think the devil has used this story to draw a line between men and women. Which by the way was not God’s plan. We were created for each other to love each other. The helper and the provider.

Many times we have often tried to pin the blame on one person for the fall of man.. First we say, ‘it is satan’s fault because he tempted them’, then we say, ‘well no it was Eve’s fault; if she wouldn’t have ate and then gave it to Adam…’, then some even say, ’well it is Adam’s fault if he wouldn’t have eaten the fruit then God would have had mercy…’.

Even in the Garden you can clearly see that each was quick to place the blame on each other…

This a great article by Sara over at Meditate on the Lord. Many times we are quick to place blame for our actions onto others, this is nothing new as Sara writes in this article. We have been deceived from the beginning by the evil one…but our choices are still our own.
