Dear Reader, Please watch this video as the post today was inspired by it.

Each day is unique. Just as each snowflake that falls from heaven and every person born walking this earth, each day is special and exclusive. Every day is a blessing and we need to look for the beauty in each one. Every day is a gift.
Can you open your heart to the many gifts around you, gifts of nature and kindness? Will you open your heart to the provisions of God? To appreciate each day and see it as the new fresh beginning that it is will bless you and honor Christ.
What will you do with this new day? Today. Are you going to thank God for the snow or the sunshine? With eyes that see and are able to read, will you thank your Lord for the ability to see? The ability to read is a gift in itself. Do you have a brain that allows you to function independently? As a brain tumor survivor, I am grateful not only for each new day of life but also for a brain that was not affected by the removal of the tumor. I am thankful that on this day I am not a burden to someone or unable to think and write about God’s loving kindnesses.
To those of us who have been kissed by death or who are walking the last leg of our earthly journey, each day seems too short. Precious details and people are appreciated so much more. It is easier to let old grudges and wrongs done to us pass from memory, for the sake of savoring a few more moments together. Building fond memories will carry us off to heaven in peace and leave our loved ones gifts to ponder every day we are absent from them.
It is my prayer today that you open your heart to the many blessings in this individual day. Look for them. They are all around you. Let everyone YOU meet on this unique day be blessed BY YOU. Just your smile, touch, or presence could be a blessing. By blessing others you will find a blessing in return and another one to add to your “Many Blessings List” for this particular day.
James 1:25
But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man shall be blessed in what he does.
1 Peter 3:9
Not returning evil for evil, or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing.
