Birth mom was exposed to German Measels during her first trimester of pregnancy.
Birth mom is a cocaine addict.
Birth mom is an alcoholic.
Birth mom has every V.D. except for HIV.
The father of the baby is 40+ years her senior.
Birth mom decides to see an attorney, an attorney that would help her place her baby for adoption. The attorney sent her to a doctor, to have everything checked out. The doctor came back with a 8.5″ x 11″ report on all of the things that this baby would be born with. His prognosis for the baby (pre-political correctness) included blind, deaf, dumb, retarded, missing limbs. That is, if the child survived the pregnancy. The attorney denied going further with the adoption process, no one would want to adopt a child with these anticipated problems; there just are too many. Birth mom makes no changes to her lifestyle but after two attempted abortions, decides to carry the child full-term.

Reminds me of Ludwig Van Beethoven. Considering all his parents and siblings health history, most people would insist the baby should be aborted (murdered).
