The New Madrid fault has been over due for a major quake for a long time so this isn’t anything new. In Tennessee they’ve taught children in school what to do when it hits for years. They say this fault is actually worse than the famed San Andreas one in California. More states should be prepared in the New Madrid area which is huge.
