“Place your plans in God’s hands!”
I know of four times in my 52 years when death nearly grabbed hold of me. Thankfully, our days on earth are written in God’s Book of Life, and Satan can’t rob us of even a single second.
Do you view your life is a gift? Are you making EACH DAY count? Don’t be too comfortable in your routines. Learn to let God direct your steps each day. The will of God is to KNOW HIM. He wants to use your life to impact eternity.
“Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” James 4:13-15 NIV

I look to the heavens and stand in awe of it’s beauty, thanking God I have another day to ponder His power and majesty. I have another day to spend with my parents and son, and more time to share the love of God with the lost. I agree with you in prayer…. that those who are caught up in their sorrows see each day as a gift. Life is a gift and one to be used for the God who created us.
