Trust In HIS Plan For Your Life

Are you struggling with the idea God wants to use you in a way you never dreamed of or wanted? Do you want His will but find that you are greatly challenged by the waiting and the unknown future? Faith and trust in a loving God is necessary when we find ourselves on a path that is hidden in the fog. Hold on and ask for peace. It will give you rest. Then relax, take a breath and continue down your path. Your journey will be blessed and full of adventure.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;
 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.   Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)

  1. He has certainly led me down a path I never dreamed of. It boils down to trusting Him and obeying Him, even when we don’t understand.

    • Hi Sue,
      Thanks for the comment! I too feel the Lord leading me down a new path and must trust God to be faithful in completing the work He has begun in me. What is the path you are now on that you never dreamed of before? Curious! Cheryl

      • Hi Cheryl” I have to chuckle because my whole walk with Christ has been a journey I never dreamed of. Five published books for one example. For the past year He has had me turning my basement into a whole house. For what I have no idea. Plus He had me start blogging, which I didn’t even know what that was, back in Jan. I never know from one day to the next what He’ll have me doing. The basement is finally complete, I’m posting those things He leads me to post, and what I’ll be doing tomorrow is anyone’s guess. As the saying goes, “Only God knows.” Blessing to you as you traverse the paths He guides you along.

    • Wow Sue…. you and I have similar stories. I am a retired teacher. When I tried to go back to teaching, after my brain surgery, I was met with closed doors. I felt the Lord telling me to start a BLOG of encouragement. I did not know what a blog was and had never read one. Well, God led people into my life and I set one up… From there, I got numerous requests to write for other blogs. I felt God was telling me to write, write, WRITE! I have 2 published books and I am hoping my third will be on Amazon by August. I believe He wants me to go into full time Christian ministry but I work as a nanny to pay my bills. I also had MY BASEMENT redone a few months ago. I am thinking it is for Bible studies and future ministry.
      Thank you for writing back. You have encouraged me. I do believe God has me on a path I never would have expected and I need to be faithful to continue forward. You can find my books on Amazon. Just type in Cheryl Zelenka. God bless you!

      • Good morning Cheryl: It certainly does sound like we have some things in common. I call my new basement my “guest house” except I’ve had no guests yet. lol I’m waiting on the Lord and wondering exactly why He had me do all that. It amazes me how He accomplished all that He has in all the things He’s had me do. My book, “Laying Down my Net-A Walk of Faith” is my testimony of my journey of learning to trust Him and obey Him. He had me moving, living in various places around the U.S. to teach me how to do that. You might find it inspiring and helpful in your own walk. By the way, I will check out your books on Amazon. Mine are there, too or you can go to my ministry website, Have you entered my drawing for one of my free books? The drawing is tomorrow. Go to my post, “win a free book of your choice.” I hope you have a wonderful day and blessings to you.

        • Hi Sue… your book “Laying Down my Net-A Walk of Faith” sounds like a book that would really interest me. I will be sure to visit Amazon today and get a copy! I will also enter the “win a free book” drawing. I do that on GoodReads every now and then. Blessings!

          • Hi Cheryl: I’ve noticed on Amazon they’re saying they’re out but if you can’t find it let me know and I’ll be sure you get one. You can also get them through my website with PayPal. Just let me know. Thanks for entering the drawing.
