Merry Christmas to one and all! Ooops – not supposed to say that. We are supposed to say Happy Holidays, right?
This is my pet peeve about Christmas – Happy Holidays. I absolutely hate that expression. Just a short time ago it was always Merry Christmas and Happy New year. Enter in political correctness – yes political correctness, a bane on our society.
People cannot be saying Merry Christmas – we might offend someone. After all the word Christmas contains the word Christ.
Well I have news for you PC folks – I like Merry Christmas and I’m keeping it! If someone is offended by Merry Christmas, well I think they need to get over it.
So have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May the peace of Christ be in your hearts and minds and may you be blessed this year and the next. Oh – and did I say Merry Christmas…

MERRY CHRISTMAS, Greg. I like your attitude! I crawled all over a bank teller for saying “have a happy holiday” to me. The line behind me heard it and cheered. My pet peeve, too and “Xmas” That really fluffs my feathers! God bless you and yours in 2016.
