In seconds, the deck was buzzing with action and everything was moving like a Swiss clock. They were on their way in record time when someone came to the young ensign and said, “You have a message from the Captain.” The message read, “You’ve done an excellent job, but there is an unwritten rule you’ve overlooked. The next time you set sail, make certain the Captain is on board!”
Friend, no matter how wise your plans or how capable your skills, before you set sail anywhere, you had better make certain that the Captain is on board—that you are in the will of God. Jeremiah 10:23 says, “O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.”
