Many have said that the infamous mask mandates and lockdowns are nothing more then a form of control, I agree. Many have also said that these ridiculous “mandates,” more like the long arm of the government seeking to control We the People – are going to return. After all, these so-called mandates were highly effective in leading the masses around by the nose.
Funny thing, it was just announced that China is AGAIN implementing masking up and lockdowns. I can’t say as I’m at all surprised.
China Inches Back Toward Lockdowns As Mysterious Viral Outbreak Surges
These measures are being reinstated even though they did not accomplish much the first time around. These viruses can easily go right through the gaps in a mask – no matter how well the mask fits.
A commenter on the China article had this to say:
“The Chinese Government is beyond just plain stupid. Did it ever occur to them that this non-stop masking up and horrible air pollution and lockdowns are what’s causing this so-called “mystery illness”?”
Indeed.
Unfortunately, there are institutions in the US calling for mask mandates again.
“Several hospital systems in New York, including United Health Services, Auburn Community Hospital and Upstate Medical, have reinstated mandatory mask policies as a way to limit the spread of the virus amid the summer surge.
The health care company Kaiser Permanente put in place a mask mandate in August for staff, patients and visitors at its facilities in Santa Rosa, California.” Source
Hopefully, this completely unnecessary idiocy is not again implemented nation-wide.
On another note, there is now a respiratory illness spreading in dogs, and it can be fatal.
“Experts are recommending dog owners curtail their pets’ socializing with unknown animals, echoing the cautionary measures implemented during the last three years since the COVID-19 outbreak in humans.” Source
Reports of the illness have cropped up across a number of states, including: California, Colorado, Oregon, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Illinois, and Georgia.
One last thought:
“People who wore protective masks were found to be more likely to contract COVID-19 infections than those who didn’t, according to a recent Norwegian study.” Source
Anyone care to explain again why masks are a good idea?
