“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33).
The Bible is important because it is inspired by God, it is profitable, and it will make us wise unto salvation. At least once a year, I like to preach a message to my congregation on the benefits of reading the Bible, and challenge them to open up God’s Word for themselves. There is a real urgency in my heart to see Christians get into God’s Word and start reading it for themselves.
