YOUR GOD IS A GENTLEMAN

Dont Force In His Time

ACTS 1:7 (NIV)       He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority.”

God is the perfect gentleman. He is always on time.  In fact, His timing is impeccable.  He appears just when the time is right, no sooner..…..no later.

He is gentle, kind, respectful, loving, attentive, and in control.  He has everything planned out and organized.  You can trust Him to get everything done.  In fact, He faithfully promises to complete the work that He has begun in you.  There is no need to ever worry.

This Gentleman, our God, is mighty in battle.  He is a skilled warrior.  Like a Prince rescuing His princess, He shines in His armor as He saves you before danger has any chance of devouring you.  Be not ever afraid.  He is an awesome leader and His angel army waits on His every word and command.

There is no need for concern about an apathetic listener when it comes to your God.  He longs to hear from you.  Not just daily but THROUGHOUT your day. He wants to share special moments with you as they happen.  You have the freedom to talk to Him every minute of the day, even at two in the morning!  You see, He never slumbers or rests.  You have His undivided attention whenever you desire to have it!!

Finances are often the topic of many arguments.  Knowing how to save and give, while providing with skill and wisdom is one of His many talents.  He believes in balanced scales and in storing up eternal treasure for you this very minute.  He is aware of every act of kindness and gentle witness you have performed for His glory.  He will give credit where credit is due.

Our Gentleman is a Master Gardener and will never force things to grow (meaning us!) or bloom before their time.  He waits for His fruit until it is perfectly ripened, sweet and bountiful. He carefully tends His garden, with a watering can always in hand.  He knows the perfect mix of fertilizer (organic of course) and is careful not to use anything that would “burn” the tender shoots growing from where He so carefully pruned.

As a plant in His garden, He will never force you to do anything you don’t want to do, since He honors your free choice. With love, He will daily examine you and find gentle ways to encourage growth, but never forcing your buds to bloom before they are ready.

His patience, love, and forgiving heart allows you to relax in His presence and confess wrongs that never needed to be hidden.  As soon as you repent, He tosses your wrongs as far as the east is from the west and they are forgotten for eternity.

Your God is a gentleman.  He can wait for you to heal and crave His attention.  His desires for you are many and He longs to see you mature, confident, and not lacking in anything.

He knows how to open millions of flowers.  He does it every day and His hands are oh, so gentle.  You are one of this Gentleman’s most prized flowers.  Your season, your time to bloom is coming.   Do not fret about when.  Just know that He is a Gentleman and you are His flower.  Lift your face to the Son and soak in His light.  My, how beautiful His garden!  How lovely are His flowers.  How plentiful is His crop.

ECCLESIASTES 3:11 (NIV)    He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

HABAKKUK 2:3 (NIV)    For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end
and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
