There is no sight without light. But there can be light without sight. What I mean by that is a man could be standing blind at high noon, and still not see.
What is my point? Men need more than light in order to be saved. They can’t be saved without the light, but they also need the sight.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 says, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
We are dependent upon God to open blind eyes to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It takes more than light—it takes sight.
