Whenever I hear people say, “I just serve God in my poor, little, old, weak way,” I feel like saying, “Well, quit it!” God doesn’t want you to serve Him in your poor, little, old, weak way. He wants you to die to yourself and let Him live through you in His mighty, glorious, dynamic way.
Then we can say, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).
