People are getting distracted everywhere. There are women to whom the world is issuing an irresistible call to go to work when they are financially able to stay home. There are people working in the church in positions to which God has called them, then suddenly the world comes along and beckons them to grab the brass ring.
Perhaps God has something He wants you to do, and you need wisdom. Friend, let me challenge you not to substitute the good for the best. Find out what God wants you to do and refuse to be distracted by the devil.
Join with Paul who said, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
