I want to tell you something. Leisure is not a luxury; it is a necessity. The word “leisure” comes from a Latin word which means “to give permission.” So leisure time is something you give yourself because you need it, and God wants you to have it.
And if you have children, don’t fail to have fun with your kids while they are kids. You need to throw away your excuses (and all of us have excuses).
“I don’t have time.” Then you make time. “I am working for their inheritance.” Friend, it would be far better for you to live rich than to die rich. “Well, I will make it up with the grandkids.” They may not even be bringing the grandkids around because of the way that you lived with them. “Well, I have deadlines.” You will always have deadlines. But you won’t have a four-year-old forever.
