BIBLE MEDITATION:
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord”
Romans 6:23
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
When the Bible says “the wages of sin is death,” it’s not talking primarily about physical death but spiritual death. You see, death means separation. Sin separated us from God. Remember, God told Adam in the Garden of Eden that if he were to disobey, “you will surely die.” Well, Adam disobeyed God, but did he die that day? Not physically. He and Eve went on to live for hundreds of years.
