BIBLE MEDITATION:
“…We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” Psalm 100:3
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
God calls us His sheep, but like sheep, we have a tendency to get away from God, our Shepherd. “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way…” (Isaiah 53:6). A sheep doesn’t have a good sense of direction; it gets easily lost. A sheep will browse here, nibble there, while getting further and further away from the flock, the fold, the shepherd, and not even realize it. Then it’s out there, lost.
