“Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.” 1 Samuel 18:3
PONDER THIS:
I think Jonathan is one of the finest men in the entire Bible. There was not a hint of jealousy in Jonathan. It was obvious that David was going to be the next king of Israel even though Jonathan was the heir apparent to the throne.
