PRAY OVER THIS:
“So it was, when David had finished speaking these words to Saul, that Saul said, ‘Is this your voice, my son David?’ And Saul lifted up his voice and wept.” 1 Samuel 24:16
PONDER THIS:
Notice how Saul was softened by David’s words. Before, he’d come with blood in his eye and with murder in his heart but now he said, “Is this your voice, my son David?” and he began to weep. This happened because David had done what the New Testament says—we’re to do good for evil.
