“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.”
—Romans 8:1
Chapter 8 of Romans begins with no condemnation and ends with no separation.
Verse 1 tells us, “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus” (NLT). And verse 39 promises, “No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord” (NLT).
Notice these verses are not saying that our lives will be free of all failures and inconsistencies. Rather, they say there is no condemnation.
