“I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, ‘Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.’”
—Revelation 21:3
It makes me smile when I hear people say that when they get to Heaven, they’ll have a few questions for God.
I think that one second after they get to Heaven, they won’t care about those questions anymore. They will see God for who He is, and everything else will come into its proper focus.
Right now, our understanding is so limited, so finite. Meanwhile, God’s wisdom is infinite.
As the apostle Paul pointed out, “Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely” (1 Corinthians 13:12 NLT).
Until the day we go to Heaven, we will have to believe in God—and believe that God will give us the answers someday.
