“Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, ‘Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.’ So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, ‘Your son lives.’ And he himself believed, and his whole household.” John 4:52-53
The man in this account lived in Capernaum. Where did he meet Jesus? In Cana. The distance between the two was about twenty miles. Following the words of Jesus, the man would have had about a day’s journey of travel to return home and see the evidence of what Jesus had proclaimed.
