It seems to this writer that nearly EVERYTHING these days is the fault of climate change.  Everywhere you look in the news and other information sources, climate change is being touted as being the end of the world, literally.

Because of climate change:

• There is less water available for use
• Less land to occupy
• The weather is worsening
• There is less farm land
• Less food to eat
• Security risks for women and girls
• Less jobs available
• Satellites are going to crash in the sky
• Increased sea levels
• More wild fires
• More allergies
• More infectious disease

The list is endless, and ridiculous.  What’s more ridiculous is what we are told we must do to “combat” climate change, because otherwise, we face extinction.  I’m so tired of hearing this kind of moronic garbage.

Concerning the claims from years ago about the supposed global warming induced disasters that were going to happen on Earth?  NONE of them happened, not even one.

Here is another fact: the Earth isn’t going anywhere, and we will NOT destroy it.  God will make a new Earth when He is ready to do so (Revelation 21:1-4).

The latest one I saw was on the Weather Channel (A HUGE climate change supporter), apparently, the Earth’s atmosphere is going to contract causing more space debris to remain in the atmosphere, thereby causing satellite collisions – because the available space for satellites to orbit the Earth will be reduced by 66%.  Seriously???

Since this “climate change” is so deadly, we need to give up meat and dairy, cows fart you know, which adds to the greenhouse gases.  Oh right, I almost forgot, we CAN still eat meat – it will simply be grown in a lab.  Sounds tasty right?

Everything powered via “fossil fuels” must immediately be grounded, stopped, removed etc.  What does this mean?

We must stop using:

• All plastics
• Weed trimmers, chain saws, lawn mowers, riding lawn mowers
• ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles
• Automobiles, motorcycles, buses, trucks, semis
• All farm equipment
• All types of space launches
• Most power plants
• All airplanes and jets including military

Do you see how ridiculous this is becoming?  It’s like we basically need to stop living.

Sure, we can use battery powered items, but those do not possess the power of gas-powered items.  Batteries also mean increased mining for minerals, and increased electricity use, hmmmm.

EVs, or battery powered cars are not the end-all be-all they are made out to be either.  Replacing the batteries is expensive, $5,000.00 – $15,000.00.  Firefighters and first responders need specialized training to get into these vehicles after an accident; electrocution is rare, but can happen, an arc flash is especially dangerous, and automotive fires that include EV batteries are very dangerous.  Other issues: there are few charging stations in the U.S., most emergency personnel are not trained to handle these emergencies, and the batteries require the use of rare earth minerals.

Rare earth minerals are themselves an issue with China producing 50 percent of these minerals, and processing up to 90 percent of them for use.  The U.S. currently has very little processing capability for these minerals, while demand for them continues to grow.  (Source)

“Batteries are often damaged in accidents, exposing the passengers and emergency personnel to hazardous chemicals, electric shocks and battery fires. These fires are not only unusually hot, but they also can spontaneously reignite hours after they are extinguished.

“The release adds that 75% of active firefighters aren’t trained on EV emergency response.”  (Source)  Underlining mine.

We are supposed to use the least amount of any energy possible, drive vehicles only when really needed; I guess that means no more vacations, unless you are a leftist, then it’s ok to ignore all the rules at will. 

What’s next?  I suppose grilling out will be a no-no, too much pollution, same for camp-fires. 

Then TV’s, computers, and the Internet will have to go too.  These items and technologies all use rare earth elements, and they suck up prodigious amounts of electricity.

How stupid of me!!!  I forgot all about how we are going to use green energy.  So, when the sun isn’t shining, and the wind isn’t blowing, you will have to put your life on hold.

Humans are but an evil plague upon the face of the Earth.  The importance of the environment FAR outweighs the concerns of humanity and our needs after all, doesn’t it?

Climate change is exactly like the old fable; “The boy who cried wolf.”  He cried wolf one too many times, and when the REAL wolf showed up, everyone ignored him.
