The LGBTQ+ Crowd is Getting a Dose of Their Own Medicine

By Greg Holt

For years now, we who are not a part of the LGBTQ+ movement have had their thoughts, ideals, and desires rammed down our collective throats with an extra-large sledge-hammer.

I have never agreed with the persecution and hatred directed at the LGBTQ+ people, that is just plain wrong.  That being said however, I have never appreciated having their particular view of life forced on me, along with so many others of course.

I watched in absolute disgust over the years as one major corporation after another signed on to the homosexual agenda, marketing their various lifestyles as completely normal, natural, and ok.  Meanwhile, anyone who opposed this kind of thing was labeled as a hater.

I would literally have to write an entire book in order to list the number of corporations and businesses that signed on to throw money at the LGBTQ+ to support them.

The leftists basically control(led) the media and the schools, so almost all of these media outlets and institutions threw their support behind the LGBTQ+.  Even young children in school are taught that two men or two women together in a sexual relationship is perfectly normal, it’s absolutely fine to have two moms or two dads – “love is love,” after all right?  Wrong.

What these people do in their bedroom is none of our business, but when what they do is publicly flaunted with pride and great fanfare, that is another matter altogether.

It’s utterly absolutely astounding to me that speaking of Jesus in public is very much frowned upon, and it can even result in the police being called, and the person being arrested.  On the other hand, men clad ONLY in tight skimpy pink underwear parading in front of people in public, children included – is seen as being just fine.  How did this ever happen???

If one went against this kind of stuff, the backlash was instant and often brutal, whether it was a post on social media or a comment on one, or a more personal response.  One could be punched, seriously beaten, have death threats made against them etc.

If one is against the values of the LGBTQ+, and/or is a Believer in Jesus, all forms of persecution and intimidation are acceptable, especially on social media sites, even violence is often ignored.  Persecution and intimidation of any kind, even merely stating an opinion that doesn’t jive with the beliefs of the LGBTQ+ folks is completely unacceptable.  Do you see the problem here?  I’m not at all advocating for ANYTHING past people debating their views on the LGBTQ+, but what is good for the goose, is definitely NOT good for the gander – and that is definitely NOT how things should be.

Trump won the election and is not known for being supportive of the LGBTQ+.  The tide at least for now seems to be turning against the interests of the LGBTQ+ community.  Instead of people, companies, and even the government rushing to support the LGBTQ+ community, people and entities are backing away from supporting them, withdrawing funding for their “pride parades” etc.  The LGBTQ+ folks are getting a taste of their own medicine, and it doesn’t appear that they are enjoying the flavor of it very much.

Bud Light sent a commemorative beer can(s) in support of a transgender woman, Dylan Mulvaney, and the backlash was immediate, and costly to the Bud Light brand, as well as the parent company, Anheuser-Busch.  Sales dropped off by 26%, every month according to the AP.  You can see the beer can that inspired a revolt against Bud Light here.

San Francisco Pride, one of the largest “gay pride” celebrations in the world has lost significant funding.  Anheuser-Busch along with other companies cut off some $300,000.00 in donations to the San Francisco Pride event.

“Since taking office, Donald Trump’s administration has attacked LGBTQ+ people and diversity efforts with a barrage of executive orders. The president has ordered that the US only recognize two sexes, sought to ban trans people from the military, and repealed policies promoting racial equity and protecting LGBTQ+ people from discrimination.”  (Source)

It’s almost laughable how Trump’s actions that do not support the LGBTQ+ ideals are seen as “attacks” against these people.  Trump had it decreed that there are only two sexes, male and female, and THAT is an “attack” against the LGBTQ+ community.  Oh please, give me a break, everyone on the planet is born a male or a female, the Bible states that we were made in God’s image – as male and females.  There is NO attack here.

This is however exactly what I’m talking about, if you take any form of action that does not support them, you are “attacking” them, but yet the LGBTQ+ can do what they please against any who do not support them, and it’s viewed as business as usual, nothing to see here folks.

Trump repealed policies that were “promoting racial equity and protecting LGBTQ+ people from discrimination.”  That would be DEI, and the premise that these rules “protected” anyone is absolute baloney.  What these policies actually did was to ensure that LGBTQ+ folks got hired etc., even when other candidates were better qualified for the position.  These so-called policies favored them in many ways, while discriminating against non-LGBTQ+ people.  DEI was reverse discrimination, period.

Suzanne Ford, the executive director of San Francisco Pride says the perceived turn against supporting the LGBTQ+ agenda is “dangerous.”

“‘Right now, you see a lot of negative attention on the LGBTQ community, and maybe people are making this decision from a marketing point of view. I think that is a very short-term view, and I think it’s dangerous for companies to take that view,’ Ford said.”  (Source)

Google, Amazon, and Meta who owns Facebook and Instagram, dialed back their support and scrapped DEI company policies.  Other companies are following suit.

Naturally Ford thinks these actions are “dangerous,” because these actions are NOT supporting her point of view and that of the LGBTQ+ in general.  I would bet money if these same companies announced that they were withdrawing funding from Christian based operations (Not that any of these companies did any such thing), Ford would at the very least have no qualms about it whatsoever.

I for one am glad that the LGBTQ+’s influence is waning, their lifestyle is NOT normal nor is it ok.
