And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. When I fly on an airplane, I have to trust the pilot. When I eat in a restaurant, I have to trust the cook. You read a map; you trust the map maker. You’re trusting the engineer who built the building you are sitting in. We trust people every day
