Do you know what God wants for you? Peace. God’s thoughts toward you are not thoughts of malevolence. God is not some vengeful deity sitting up there on the throne, making a lot of rules and laws to make you squirm like a worm in hot ashes, and throwing down thunderbolts of wrath. That’s not the idea.
