When the founders of the United States of America drew up the Declaration of Independence and framed the Constitution, they adopted Martin Luther’s principles. This fact has been openly admitted by many great leaders of our country. Daniel Webster once said, ”The Reformation of Martin Luther introduced the principles of civil liberty into the wilderness of North America.” President McKinley said, ”Luther gave us civil and religious liberty.”
