Psalm 17:15
“As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.”
Have you ever turned toward an extremely bright light? Or perhaps you’ve glanced at the sun, and your eyes were bathed in its radiance. Look away, and how do other objects appear? Have they not grown dim, if not dark and invisible? All are changed. Likewise, the treasures of this world look different after a person has caught a glimpse of heaven—nothing else satisfies.
