Psalm 29:2
“Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”
Worship often evokes images of stained-glass windows or dimly lit cathedrals, accented by candlelight, but true worship is not dependent on a setting or atmosphere. Many believe worship happens in a church service where a group of musicians performs a series of songs that may or may not be to our liking. That also is not worship. Worship and our acts thereof are intended to be costly offerings to God, in terms of songs of praise, yes, but also our very lives.
