Hebrews 12:6
“For whom the LORD loves, He chastens and scourges every son whom He receives.”
Content is the child who understands this verse. Loving discipline is required if a child is to grow up responsible. The Lord has His ways of correcting those who are His. Even the most committed saint will err and when God’s Word is not heeded, the Lord will use harsher means.
