“Then, fearing lest we should run aground on the rocks, they dropped four anchors from the stern, and prayed for day to come.”
Acts 27:29
In this verse, the sailors prayed in essence, “Oh! If I just had some light; if I just knew what to do!” But they had rejected God’s light. And now they found themselves in darkness. The sailors of that day didn’t have the modern instrumentation that we have today.
