Lately, with schedule pressures, forgetfulness and physical infirmity and weakness, I unwittingly within a short time adopted a critical spirit until I realized how it has changed my perspective of most everything I had to make decision on and my response to situations, people and work of God. I can say it was not glorifying to God while it lasted.

Thank God He opened my eyes and made me aware that  I had fallen into a trap of  a critical spirit for a short time. Everybody else and everything was not right and I had become critical where in the past I would recognize the good in most things and people as I have  a “half full” rather than a “half empty” temperament and normally am encouraging rather than discouraging.

Excellent post on being critical by ptl2010 on ChristianBlessings. It is altogether to easy to fall into this trap at times, I am certainly guilty of this not only of others but even more of myself.
