What are you seeking in this life? Is it your soul mate? Healing? Wealth or Prestige? Do you want riches from this world or treasure in heaven?
What is treasure to you? Is it the comfort of material things, not worrying about paying a bill on time? Or, do you want wisdom? Wisdom will carry you through many trials and tribulations. The bible says that wisdom, understanding, and knowledge are of greater worth than rubies. I have asked for the greatest gift of all, love. I want to be well practiced in this gift but it takes a lifetime to earn it, if then. I wouldn’t mind having wisdom and a bunch of rubies when I get to the pearly gates either.
If you want spiritual gifts pray about it and then use them to edify others, especially the body of Christ. If you want the wisdom of Solomon then ask for it. Our Lord is a generous gifter. Remember, to him who is given much…. Much more will be asked.
We are accountable for what we know. Let us gain understanding so that we have the wisdom to know how to bless and serve others.
The Three Wise Men sought to find what the star was guiding them to, stepping out in faith. I hope you actively seek the Lord and find what He is guiding you to on your journey. Open your heart and be prepared to be amazed. Be faithful in the small things and you will find there will be even more He asks of you. Do not back away; It will be a blessing to serve such a loving Father. What He requires of you will be a challenge but also a wonder.
MATTHEW 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
LUKE 12:48 But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
LUKE 16:10 Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
MATTHEW 6:19-21 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

We serve an incredibly amazing God who DELIGHTS to give and give and give to His blood-bought, adopted children. When we seek HIM, He gives us freely of all we need to know, love and serve Him faithfully.
What an amazing God!
Amen!!
