Commentary by: Gordon King
Brothers and sisters in Christ, this is a time of trials and tribulations. It is not yet the “Tribulation Period”, yet it is a time of much tribulation. The times are destined to only get worse the closer we get to the return of our great and mighty Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We are truly blessed to have one another for encouragement, guidance and worship. We are “The Body of Christ”. Amen
Let us stand together in unity and fellowship. Strengthen each others faith. Teach and instruct each other in the truth of God’s Word. Our time is short. We have been chosen to live in the “end times”. I am honored and blessed knowing that God has chosen me to live at this time in history. The last thing that I want to do is let God down.
Let us follow Jesus daily, walk in the light and give him all of the glory! If you are a Christian who has walked away from the faith, I strongly encourage you to return to your heavenly Father. He will not only welcome you back, like the prodigal son, he will run to you as well with open arms in celebration! That is how much he loves you and wants you to stay close to him. At the same time, he has given you a free will for you to make your own decisions, so the choice is yours.
If you are truly a born again Christian, you will want to serve the God of the Universe. With that being said, if you are truly a Christian yet walking in darkness, you may be deceived. Many of us have walked away from the Lord, including myself. I have paid the price, believe me I have. Return to your Father in love and repentance. Make sure you are doing what he asks of you when he returns. For no one knows the day nor the hour. Only the Father in heaven knows. But I can tell you that we are in the season. So repent and return to your Savior! Don’t let him find you walking in darkness on that glorious day.
God is so good and he loves us so much! Our God is great, forgiving, merciful, loving and kind.
Let us be Christ like, let our light shine in the darkness. Let us treat our Christian brothers and sisters with love, kindness, mercy and forgiveness. After all we are a family. We should be reaching out to one another with the love of Christ.
I send my love out to all of you! God Bless each and everyone. Maranatha! ![]()
