That little note made such an impression on her that she still has it in a little scrapbook. It must have been good! But you know, from that time on she began to take an interest in me. Do you know why she loves me? I first loved her.
Do you know what the Bible is? It is God’s love letter to you. It is God saying to you, I have set my eye upon you. I love you! That is what I call “seeking grace.” Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
You’re not saved by doing good deeds, joining a church, giving your money, or any type of work. You are saved by the grace of God. God saved you when you put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who alone has the power to save.
