That is what I call “seeking grace.” Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
You’re not saved by doing good deeds, joining a church, giving your money, or any type of work. You are saved by the grace of God. God saved you when you put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who alone has the power to save.
