Some people have the erroneous idea that after you’re saved, you have an additional experience of receiving the Holy Spirit.
Put it down big, put it down straight. If the Holy Spirit is not in you, you are not saved. There is no such thing as getting saved and later receiving the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:9 says, “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.”
If you don’t have the Holy Spirit of God, you cannot call yourself a Christian because Christ is not in you. The only way that Jesus can be in you is through the Holy Spirit.

“Some people have the erroneous idea that after you’re saved, you have an additional experience of receiving the Holy Spirit.” This phrase is profound. Its all about Jesus doing it all. Thank you so much.
