God's Word Is A Treasure

Job said, “I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food” (Job 23:12b). God’s Word was more important to Job than his food. When this book is as important to you as your physical food, then you’re going to start to grow in your Christian life.
Psalm 119:162 says, “I rejoice at Thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.” Have you ever dreamed of one day discovering a buried treasure somewhere—a little box filled with rubies and diamonds? David said the Word of God is like a treasure hunt.
