BIBLE MEDITATION:
“Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them” Numbers 14:9
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
When the Israelites were headed into the Promised Land, some demon-possessed giants, who were called Anakim, already lived there. When the twelve Israelite spies went to scope out the land, ten came back saying, “Oh, it’s a good land—a land full of milk and honey, corn and wine, oil and pomegranates, figs and grapes. But, hey, we can’t take this land—there are giants in it!”
