John 21: 5-6
“Then Jesus said to them, ‘Children, have you any food?’ They answered Him, ‘No.’ And He said to them, ‘Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.’ So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.”
Before I came to know the Lord, I focused on what would make me happy as I searched for the next great experience of my life. This pursuit of happiness has taken on a meaning today that I’m certain would not interest Thomas Jefferson. For living to do the things that this world offers will always leave you tired, empty and still searching.
