Jimbo was completely and surely adamant when he blurted out that absolutely nothin ABSOLUTELY NOTHIN on God’s earth is ever gonna stop me!!
Oh, that can be so sad – Jimbo was determined and absolutely adamant that he should be first come what may.
Jimbo was like this right from the start – the family was totally and utterly confused as to what they should do – he was a difficult and pushy child. Maybe a solid need in his heart for recognition – common in many, but can be hugely problematic.
Maybe nowadays he may have been diagnosed with something like narcissistic personality disorder, which is an underlying feeling of being special and, of course, having to receive recognition come what may.
Jimbo pushed his way forward time and time again – nothing was going to stop him, absolutely nothing! Going to school was a huge problem for Jimbo – always pushing himself forward in the classroom, in the playground – pushing his ideas forward to those teaching him, making himself (so he thought) the beacon of light and wisdom.
Unfortunately, that didn’t work for poor Jimbo – having to be number one in ALL situations was essential in his life – he couldn’t possibly think otherwise. As far as he was concerned, no one else in the whole world could possibly come anywhere near him in respect of knowledge and wisdom.
The result must have been so lonely – no one could come near him – as far as he was concerned, being No. 1 was absolutely essential; no one on God’s earth came even close. Jimbo was also a totally controlling person, telling everyone what they should do and making others do what he wanted them to do.
So sad really – it wasn’t long before his life faded away – a terrifying road accident when he insisted that he must be first, pushing himself forward at a set of traffic lights with another person, obviously with a similar personality, and making their own way to the front, and both ending up under a truck.
Life cut short! Horrible! Devastating!
Reminds me of the unfortunate and horrific sinking of the Titanic when the makers said the ship was practically totally and utterly unsinkable.
Back in 1910, the White Star Line‘s brochure describing the magnificent Titanic as “practically unsinkable” – Oh what a mistake!
She was a beautiful and really modern ship, which amazed the world with her magnificence. My mind can’t really comprehend what those poor people must have gone through that night back in 1911.
Through it all, so many people vanished, never to be seen or heard of again.
It is devastatingly sad when we lose someone we love and who has had a huge effect on our lives – Jimbo’s parents must have been devastated, and I can’t imagine what the families of the Titanic’s victims must have gone through.
Death has really no bounds – losing someone, especially those we have loved, is a painful and horrific experience.
Jesus Himself loved His very best friend, Lazarus, and at his death, Jesus, being so deeply moved, cried when he found out Lazarus had died. Jesus raised Lazarus up from the grave only because He had the very power to do it.
I am always confronted by the question of how I possibly find any sort of peace after someone I loved has died. Death is certainly not the end for anyone who believes in Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
We still will be devastated when our loved ones die – I can only imagine what the survivors and families of the Titanic disaster must have gone through, and also the family of Jimbo. How sad, and yet those who believed that Jesus is Lord and has prepared a place for all believers, then that is a huge rally of comfort and peace.
When we look back, the impact of our past loved ones who have passed away can have a profound effect on our lives.
I remember so well the impact my Mum had on my life – she loved Jesus as lord and made Him number one in her life – you can look at her testimony here on this blog dated May 23rd, 2013, and titled “My Mum’s Amazing Message.”
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die (John 11:25-26). In other words, we who ask Jesus to come into our lives and accept Him as our Lord and saviour will be guaranteed to have everlasting life, living with Jesus even though death whips us away from everything here, which never ceases to astound me.
You know, apart from what Jesus did on that cross all those years ago, there would be absolutely no eternal life at all. Death has no power over us once we give our lives to Him. Yes, we will all die here on earth, and sadly, we all experience just what that means, BUT once we have given our lives to Jesus, then death really has no power over us at all.
If we decide not to accept Jesus as Lord of our lives, then we will actually be destined for death (and I hate to think of the consequences). However, having faith in Jesus and asking Him to come into our lives and take first place, we will indeed receive eternal life. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Do you want eternal life after this life on earth is over? If so, pray a prayer similar to this one:-
Dear God, please forgive me for the things in my life where I have turned my back on you. I am sorry for the sins I have committed. Please come into my life and change me. Help me make you number one in my life. I know I will continue to stumble along, but please be there for me and always remind me of your great sacrifice for me. Amen
Have a great week, and hope to see you soon – Huge blessings to you and yours

Giving a Strong Emotional Legacy
A murmur of surprise went up from the watching crowd
Gabby
Are you a friend or foe? You do not know me and you do not know The Branch of Life that is Christ. Who do you truly serve with that threat? Is it Christ? I am no one; a nobody and I am not pushing my way to the front of any line. I do not want to do this. I do not want to stand above any human being or beneath. I do not want to climb up a fictional ladder that goes nowhere, but down. What an awful thing to say to me, to express to me that I will be murdered with a loved one, because I am expressing the Living God’s Truth as provided to me by the Branch of Life that is Christ. That branch of Life that we were all created from. What an awful thing to say. What an awful thing to say. I know I am not indestructible. I am just trying to save the “Life” and to stop the terraformation project going on.
I think with all due respect, you are completely lost. You obviously misunderstand the message of this article. You question my author’s salvation, seriously??? Where do you see a threat in this article? Perhaps you need to get down from your high-horse, reread the article, and take a moment to think, before making such an audacious and foolish comment.
This article shows just how deluded you really are, you talk as if YOU are God. Wow, I’ve never seen in all my years this level of outright idiocy.
…the-truth-of-my-presence/
Then there is this comment from your site: truth. At least the only one I know of.”
“I am the first “form” on this planet to accept the
Seriously??? Where do you get this crap from? It’s not from the Bible. You seriously believe that of all the people on Earth, you are the only one who “gets it”??? Are you really that arrogant?
Please, seek out biblical counseling for yourself. These things you express are not of Christ.
Greg
Geez, you missed the entire point of my expression, “The Truth of My Presence”. I do have a desire to be known, but not for me, but for you. The main point of that message had to do with foundations. Incomplete or fictional ones and how very dangerous it is for human beings to trust other human beings with their “Life”. (Ruling Humans – The ones that are most definitely against the second coming of Christ and are doing everything in the power to stop the rebirth.
The post also mentions that I wrote 100 divinely inspired writing and that you do not stand on a solid foundation while assessing who you perceive me to be or who you think I am.
If you read all 100 and pushed your way through, you would see me differently, but you won’t.
Because every human being on this planet stand on a foundation that is the size of a small round rock, while trying to discern what our truth is.
Let me ask you sir, the entirety of your harsh response to me; was there any though in their that was original in nature. Were any of those thoughts your own???
No sir, your just reacting to a couple of posts that I wrote, based upon programming you have received and you are using that programming as your own thoughts, as if your created those thoughts and concepts. Do you know what I mean?
I am a good human being and I love “LIFE” (GOD) and all I can see is that there are those that are trying to kill God and prevent the second coming from happening.
Their are times when I do speak for God, as if I know him and for Christ – now it’s you turn. You do it now. God does not want us on our knees. What kind of benevolent creator would create servants or need servants in any way.
Read 100% of me and if you still think I am wacky and arrogant. I will take council.
What do we truly know? Only that which we were given to know. What if what we were given to know is a lie? Then, what would we know?
We weren’t created from God my friend, we were created from “Life” ripped from God’s Living Tree. You are that piece of God.
So step up, for it is you that may have been deceived. Get to know me, we may even become friendly.
There is so many good and decent human beings on this planet. We deserve to know the truth and I just don’t feel like we have yet.
James, you are deluded. Your baseless and false theology has nothing in common with the Bible, you know, the Word of God?
“We weren’t created from God my friend, we were created from “Life” ripped from God’s Living Tree.” THAT, is not biblical.
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1:27. NO mention of the tree of life in relation to the creation of man.
Read all of your writings? No thank you. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that you do not base your beliefs strictly on the Bible.
It is you who will answer to God for your falsehoods, not me. You do NOT speak for Jesus, you speak for yourself. If you “spoke” for Jesus, what you say would line up 100% with the Bible, and it does not.
“The cheribums and flaming sword which turns every way” to block our path to everlasting life. What presence set that in place? No matter what I say to you and which angle I came at you from, you will block all information, true or false, from entering your physical presence. Leaving us at odds with each other. All our creator had to do was program the unevolved human to believe they sinned and we wouldn’t ask the question: “why would a Benevolent omnipotent God” punish us for an eternity, for one mistake? I wish you well. Wish you weren’t so mad at me.
This has nothing to do with me being “mad” at you, that is silly. I simply will not entertain your unbiblical falsehoods. I cannot understand how it is that you can take positions that clearly do NOT align with Scripture!
