John 12:3
“Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.”
Once contained in a bottle, now covering the feet of Jesus—in a single remarkable act, the Creator and the created become one in fragrance. The ardor of Mary’s love poured out filled her home, but it is where Jesus carried it that commands our attention.
