Philippians chapter 2 tells us that the Lord did not consider it a thing to be grasped to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation and took on the form of a servant in obedience (Philippians 2:5-8). And the Bible says, “therefore God has highly exalted him” (Philippians 2:9). Jesus took the low way, and God exalted Him.
