Feelings are Fickle, Faith Stands Firm
I sadly know a situation very much like this. The person was treated very much like what is written here. The treatment made this person feel unwelcome, unloved and alone. The person left the church. I use to think that was how it was suppose to be but after seeing a person treated this way with my own eyes, I saw judgement and I saw no love. This person’s character was torn down and the person felt nothing BUT disapproval. I can’t see that this is right. You disapprove of a sin….not the person. You also do NOT make them feel like an outcast. I have still not decided if I am ever going to attend that church again though I have friends there.

Good Post, When judgment is due we must do it in love, as you pointed out. God loves mercy over judgment, but judgment bathed in love is mrcy
Well said. Thanks for the comment.
