Do not allow the actions of others to determine the course of your own life. Not all people are leaders nor should they be – and yet you were not created by God to blindly follow the majority. Just the opposite in fact, those you chose to follow should be the few not the many.
Keep to the Word of God like glue – if it does not line up with Scripture run the other way. Be wary – be careful – a large church flock does not mean sound teaching. A large teaching ministry that many people like does not mean sound doctrine.
The wolves are among us – those deceived by Satan even within the very Church is growing exponentially. Big names and years of teaching mean nothing – if teachers of the Word don’t teach in line with the Bible they are to be discarded like yesterday’s news.
Anyone can display fruit that looks good – but does that same fruit taste good?
The few – the forgiven – the saved; followers of Christ and Him only

Yes we must, more and more false teachers will appear and we must know the Word well to discern right teaching from false.

Acts 4:32a “And of the multitude of those who believed, the heart and the soul were one.”
The false gospel being preached today by false teachers and ravenous wolves have so been accepted that not only is the world deceived, but the majority of Jesus-believers as well. But there is good news to be heard! God has revealed His Truth in His Word! Come out of made made organizations, refuse the carnal ways of men and let the light of Christ shine for you! Love your brethren and the fellowship of your true assembly. Only then can God give you solid food for growth.
We can not “start” the assembly of God (so-called “church”) where we live. ALL who live in a location IS a part of the assembly of God in that location. We are meant to fellowship with and work together with all our brothers and sisters, letting God build His Kingdom. Anyone who becomes saved or moves to a new location has immediately become a part of Gods assembly at that place. As Gods children we are a family, loving and fellowshipping together.
Hi Tommy, one of your links was broken – I removed them both however. I read your article on “true assemblies”. I agree with some of what you are saying but you are carrying it a little to far. Should we all be “one’ church – absolutely, is this feasible? No it is not – nor is there anything wrong with there being different churches. The only thing wrong is when various churches are not following the Word of God and teaching falsehoods and/or teaching to enrich themselves – on that we agree.
Being “one” church is more about being one in spirit that being one in any physical way. It is good there are different styles of worship, some like this music and some like that – nothing wrong with that as long as worship is about glorifying God and not ourselves. Same is true of pastors – some prefer so and so, and some like a different guy – again nothing wrong with that as long as the teaching is biblical.
We would all be ahead of the game if we spent more time teaching God’s Word and warning of the false teachers while also encouraging people. 🙂
