One distinguishing feature between Man and animals is Man has a concern for his destiny. Man is the only creature who knows he’s going to die. No elephant knows he’s going to die. Salmon may swim upstream, spawn, and then die, but they never think about death. They never say, “I’d better prepare for eternity.” But the Bible says God has put eternity in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
