The truth is part of the reason Jesus Christ is derided and hated with a passion
By Greg Holt
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8
(ICB) Jesus never changes – not yesterday, not today, not ever, to me this is like a breath of fresh air. In today’s world even more so than in the past, things change. It’s not just change, because change is normal, like it or not. By the way, I normally do not like change. Oh no, it’s the change in culture and the way we as a nation think.
One never knows when the rules are going to change, today its one way, tomorrow it’s another. The Leftists in this country seem to set the rules for all, like it or not.
Brendan Eich was the CEO of Mozilla, for eleven days. Because of his opposition to same-sex marriage, he was forced out of Mozilla. David Allen was arrested in Houston Texas for street preaching.
Tomorrow, or the day after, or next week etc., my Facebook pages could be shut down or deleted because I post the truth, the truth is not well liked.
The truth is part of the reason Jesus Christ is derided and hated with a passion. Jesus IS the truth, period.
People can deny that there is a God, but I find that even though many do, they still recognize the fact that something is missing in their lives. I have seen this time and time again.
Many who staunchly state that they do not believe in God – will argue about it. Many are very passionate in their arguments that there is not a God, quite a few even know the Bible, often better than believers do. My question is; if these people are so sure that there is no God, then why are they so heavily invested in arguing about it? What is the concern? It always seems to me that these folks are trying to convince themselves that there is no God rather than me or you.
Despite those who hate God and vilify Him, despite the immoral and disgusting world we live in, despite the Leftist laundry list of idiocy – like cancel culture, doxing, social media censorship, outright lying, use of violence when it helps their “cause” etc., we can ALWAYS rely on Jesus, always.
Jesus will never leave you (Deuteronomy 31:8). He’s not going anywhere that He will not take you with Him (John 14:2). If you are His adopted child, you will live with Him forever (Galatians 4:4-7). Jesus cannot be taken away from you (Psalm 91:1, Psalm 61:4). We can die, but even death cannot separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39).
I belong to Jesus – and no man, no demon, not even Satan himself is going to change that. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.

“It always seems to me that these folks are trying to convince themselves that there is no God rather than me or you.” This reminds of “they protest too much.” I agree totally, who are they trying to convince?
